Tough Tajaanus delivers Hannon second straight Solera

For a recent five-year spell Godolphin dominated the Group 3 german-thoroughbred.com Sweet Solera Stakes, and while he has a few more winners to find Richard Hannon is starting to build his own sequence.

Last year Nations Alexander gave the trainer a first success in the race, and he followed that up with Tajaanus, who stayed on best to win by a length under Dane O'Neill.

"She's a lovely tough filly with a great attitude," Hannon said. "We'll probably look at races like the Rockfel and Fillies' Mile. She's had only four runs and has won three."
