Tough Kylie records eighth handicap victory for Ellison

Eight wins from her last eleven starts. That is the remarkable record of gutsy dual-purpose handicapper Our Kylie since she moved to Brian Ellison's Norton base from Tony Coyle.

She never wins by far, that's the key to her successes, and her victory in the 2m1f handicap hurdle was her sixth over hurdles despite a rise of 23lb in the ratings.

This performance was very similar to the majority of her wins – she was one of the first off the bridle before staying on strongly to beat the strong-travelling and well-backed Frederic by two lengths.
