Nick Alexander took the card by storm as he saddled his first treble under rules, which featured Marlee Massie leading home a 1-2-3 for the yard in the 2m5½f handicap chase.

The Kinneston trainer, who had ten runners on the card, struck with Gold Opera, under his former claimer Blair campbell, and Titian Boy before Calivigny and Buffalo Ballet followed Marlee Massie home to complete his memorable afternoon.
