Bumper winner Spirit Of Kayf began his career as a jumper on the right note with a convincing win in the maiden hurdle.

Having his first run since finishing down the field in the Champion Bumper in March, he jumped well throughout, and although headed by classy ex-Flat performer Master Of Finance going to the last flight, he ran on well with great gusto for Tommy Dowson to draw away on the run-in to score by three and a quarter lengths.
