Nigel Twiston-Davies had a rare request of the handicapper after his topweight The Hollow Ginge landed an entertaining renewal of the featured Somerby Chase.

The 3-1 chance made the most of the key exits of hot favourite Pistol Whipped at the first and fancied northern raider Looks Like Murt three out to grind out a win under the trainer's son Sam.

"I know it's an unusual request but if the handicapper were here I'd be pestering him to put The Hollow Ginge up at least five pounds, so we can get him into the Grand National," said Twiston-Davies.
