Owner Andrew Cohen and a host of happy punters were lauding champion jockey Richard Johnson for his unlikely win on Ten Sixty in the feature hurdle.

Behind the leaders and off the bridle turning for home, Ten Sixty, the 9-4 joint-favourite, looked sure to blow up on his seasonal return but Johnson was having none of it as he gradually got a tune out of the six-year-old.

Many other jockeys would have been forgiven for going for the whip at this stage but Johnson saved his ammunition for the run-in where he drove his mount out to collar Abricot De L'Oasis by a head.
