Teescomponents Lad another joy to behold for trainer Gillian Boanas

For the second day in a row trainer Gillian Boanas was left beaming with joy after one of her leading lights did her proud.
On Sunday 13-year-old Brave Spartacus scored a heartwarming victory for the Saltburn trainer at Market Rasen, and 24 hours later it was the turn of the equally popular Teescomponents Lad, who powered home under Ross Chapman in the 2m3½f handicap hurdle.
Teescomponents Lad has not finished out of the first four in 14 starts for Boanas, so it is little wonder he is held in such high regard.
