Supasundae licks rivals with impressive display for Harrington

Having appeared a doubtful stayer over two and a half miles last season, Supasundae looked very much at home over the trip now as he swatted some good opposition aside in the feature conditions hurdle.

His one run over the trip last season, for his former trainer Henry de Bromhead, cast some doubts over his stamina.

"He's a lot stronger now though," said Jessica Harrington after he had put up an impressive performance under Robbie Power, taking it up before two out and picking up really well to give 4lb and a convincing six-and-a-half length beating to high-class Monksland.
