A four-timer on Saturday showed what fine form Nicky Henderson has his string in and the champion trainer dominated proceedings at his local track with three winners – and for good measure he had an away day strike at Ludlow too.

Style De Garde got the ball rolling in the juvenile hurdle before Pacific De Baune impressed in the maiden hurdle, while Mr Whipped proved too good despite a penalty in the novice hurdle.

All three were ridden by Nico de Boinville, whose first winner earned a quote of 33-1 with Paddy Power for the JCB Triumph Hurdle.
