Stunning Saxon Warrior better than Churchill, Galileo Gold and Camelot
Saxon Warrior: could excel over longer tripsCredit: Edward Whitaker
Saxon Warrior posted a figure commensurate with that of a typical 2,000 Guineas winner in maintaining his unbeaten record at Newmarket yesterday, returning an improved Racing Post Rating of 123+ with a performance full of promise for the season ahead.
The form choice on the strength of his Racing Post Trophy defeat of Roaring Lion, this represents another step up in form from this exciting colt who holds clear potential to rate higher still when stepping up in trip.

He's understandably a short priced favourite for the Derby, with race standards suggesting he'll need only find a pound or two to meet par for Epsom.
