Apprentice Sean Davis stole the limelight at Navan on Saturday, bringing his career tally to 30 winners with a sprint-race double in the meeting's main prizes on Only Spoofing and Dragons Call.

British raider Only Spoofing landed the five furlong handicap, coming away to win by a length in the colours of Dublin-based owners Seamus and Hilary Mannion, and the four-time winner may return to Ireland for the Joe McGrath Premier Handicap at Naas on September 30.

Tim Hogg, assistant the the four-year-old's trainer Jedd O'Keeffe, said: "Sean had ridden Only Spoofing a couple of times in the past and he gave him a very brave ride today. He went for a gap when it appeared instead of taking him back and it paid off well.
