So Mi Dar would have done justice to one of her owner Andrew Lloyd Webber's scripts when stealing the show in the EBF Stallions John Musker Stakes, the seasonal highlight at the Norfolk track.

In the strongest field most locals could remember for the Listed contest, the one-time Oaks fancy returned from four months on the sidelines with a stylish win to set up an exciting autumn that could culminate with a Breeders' Cup bid.

Owner Lloyd Webber and his wife Madeleine paid their first visit to the track by helicopter from Ireland, and also had overseas trips in mind for the winner after her success initiated a treble for Frankie Dettori.
