Trainer Laura Morgan, not be confused with Epsom-based Laura Mongan, has enjoyed a fine second season and the tough Skipping On gave her winner number nine from a team of just 12 horses when he landed the 2m4f handicap chase under a well-judged front-running ride from claimer Patrick Cowley.

Morgan, the daughter of former trainer Kevin, worked for Jonjo O'Neill for many years but two seasons ago was granted her trainer's licence to take over the yard of Chris Bealby when he retired.
