Dan Skelton reached another landmark in an already outstanding 2017-18 season when Ashkoul brought up the 150 for the team when winning the opening 2m handicap hurdle.

The 9-2 chance was give a patient ride in the easy conditions from 7lb claimer Fergus Gregory to pick off the gallant and gambled-on Dinsdale on the home turn.

Skelton is fifth in the trainers' championship table heading into the final three weeks of the season, which culminates at Sandown on April 28.
