Hello You became the latest juvenile to put herself in the frame for Royal Ascot with a blistering debut in the 6f fillies' novice.

She cost €350,000 for football super agent Kia Joorabchian's Amo Racing and, in the hands of Rossa Ryan, produced a smart finish to secure a comfortable six-and-a-half length success.

With an impressive win under her belt, Hello You seems on course for a tilt at the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Ryan told Sky Sports Racing: "She quickened all the way to the line for me, I couldn’t fault her in any way. She is a sight for sure.

"She’s such a good moving filly, she’ll probably want good ground, which, with the weather forecast, we're promised to have by Royal Ascot time, so I think it will just be perfect."

Trained by Ralph Beckett, Hello You gave Amo Racing their 18th winner of the season, matching last year’s total.

It also continued Ryan’s impressive run of form, with the 20-year-old sitting second in the Jockeys Championship behind Oisin Murphy.

Market mover delivers

The Sarah Hollinshead-trained Diamond Jill landed a significant gamble to claim her first win at odds of 11-2, after being as long as 22-1 with bookmakers on Sunday night.

The filly, who finished 12th of 15 in her previous race at Nottingham, benefited from a return to Wolverhampton, home of six of her eight starts.

The four-year-old produced a strong run from the rear of the field to give owner Jeff Gould his first winner since 2018.
