Tudhope title challenge looks on the cards after seven winners in three days

It was only the third day of the jockeys' championship but Danny Tudhope has already put down his marker as a serious title contender with seven winners on the board.

Following three winners at two meetings on Saturday, he had two more at Hamilton on Sunday and added another two here, the second coming on Nature Boy in the 7½f handicap.

The winner is trained by David O'Meara, who said: "I don't see why Danny shouldn't give it a real go this year. He's getting plenty of rides from the southern yards – William Haggas for one is supporting him – and he has always been a very good rider.
