A rematch with top four-year-old Defi Du Seuil is next on the agenda for Bedrock who gained his second win over hurdles when landing odds of 1-3 in the 2m½f novice.

Partnered by Harry Skelton, the former decent Flat horse made all of the running and though his jumping wasn't totally flawless, he never looked like being caught as he galloped on strongly to beat previous winner Saxo Jack by eight lengths.

However, it won't be so easy for him next time as Dan Skelton said: "He will now go to Cheltenham's October meeting to take on Defi Du Seuil in the Masterson Hurdle for four-year-olds. It's a stiff ask but he was beaten only six lengths by him at Aintree in April so we will give it a go."
