Who said you need a low draw at Chester? Conventional wisdom was turned on its head on the last day of the season at the track.

Barristan The Bold, Ptarmigan Ridge and Princes Des Sables defied double-figure stalls to take the first three races around Britain's tightest circuit.

Princes Des Sables also achieved the rare feat of landing four straight nurseries, coming wide from stall ten to collect the feature £20,335 two-year-old handicap.
