Royal Opera House, a two-year-old son of Royal Applause, looks set to target some big races abroad after his seven lengths victory in the 7f maiden under William Carson.

Breaking well and making all, as so many winners do at the Essex venue, Carson had all his rivals off the bridle with three furlongs to go and duly kicked clear once they entered the straight.
