Round Two delivers knockout blow to his Munster Mile rivals

The Jim Bolger-trained Round Two has always been a colt with a considerable amount of ability. After winning his first two starts as a two-year-old, Bolger said of the son of Teofilo: “If you wouldn't get excited by him, you just wouldn't be alive.”

Bolger may have been in need of resuscitation following Round Two’s third start. Sent off the 9-4 favourite for the Group 2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot last summer, he ran a perplexing race to finish a disappointing seventh.

The trainer however was not in attendance at Limerick on Saturday where Round Two finally got back to winning ways in the €25,000 1m handicap, but travelling head lad Ger Flynn was happy see the three-year-old back to winning ways.
