Rooneys on the scoresheet again as Titi lands Listed prize

Titi Makfi continued a dream run for owners Paul and Clare Rooney as she pulled out all the stops from the front to land the Listed 32Red Floodlit Stakes.

Having started the season as a five-race maiden, the Mark Johnston-trained three-year-old was scoring for the sixth time as she opened her account at Listed level.

“It’s unbelievable,” said the trainer's son and assistant Charlie. “On the first of June this filly was rated 70 and she’s just gone and won a Listed race officially rated 100.
