Rockerfeller fanbase continues to grow as he maintains perfect start to chasing

The round of applause Lil Rockerfeller received as he left the winner's enclosure after his increasingly individual way to find success confirmed the seven-year-old has a growing fan base.

The 5-6 favourite did nearly everything wrong, jumping clumsily out to his right, for more than half of the 3m½f Matchbook-sponsored novice chase before getting down to business in the home straight to comfortably beat Treackle Tart by four lengths, making it two from two over fences.

Lil Rockerfeller has his quirks as his trainer Neil King admitted.
