Rebecca Bastiman is having her best season and has quickly put behind her a £5,000 fine at a high-profile BHA inquiry in August.

The Wetherby trainer saddled the one-two in the second division of the Class 6 7f handicap when David Allan-ridden Roaring Forties led home Harbour Patrol.

Bastiman, who led up the winner with former jockey brother Harvey looking after the runner-up, said: “The horses are running well. We’ve got a few coming back after breaks that will keep us going until the end of the year on the all-weather.”
