With plenty of Flat racing's other star jockeys at Goodwood, Richard Kingscote took advantage at Nottingham as he registered an 89-1 double in the opening two contests.

Kingscote won the 5f fillies' novice stakes on debutant Ishvara, who stayed on nicely to hold off the challenge of 1-3 shot Poets Dance by three-quarters of a length.

That victory also gave trainer Robert Cowell his first turf juvenile winner of the season.
