Return Ticket helps Jefferson bounce back from removal of horses

Return Ticket underlined his quality to further buoy trainer Ruth Jefferson after the removal of several leading horses this summer.

Just six months after taking over from her late dad Malcolm in February, the trainer was left reeling when Cyrius Darius, Cloudy Dream and Mount Mews were taken out of the yard.

But she has recovered well from the blow and was registering her eighth success of the season from just 37 runners when Return Ticket made all in the novices’ hurdle.
