Rapid Escape emulates Gigginstown and Elliott stars with Navan win

Rapid Escape has set himself something to live up to after becoming the latest of the Gigginstown House Stud and Gordon Elliott production line to win the Navan bumper on Sunday.

The team has now won the well-named "Future Champions" bumper four times in the last seven years after Rapid Escape added his name to an illustrious list.

First winner of the 2m bumper for the team was last year's Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Don Cossack (2011) followed by this year's Drinmore Novice Chase winner Death Duty (2015).
