He did not appreciate the hubbub from the Scottish National last time but a visit to a Scottish racecourse brought about a marked upturn in the fortunes of Bolder Bob.
The four-year-old stamped himself as a horse destined for better things as he secured victory in the £22,000 1m5f handicap.
The race looked highly competitive, with Scotland’s leading trainer Keith Dalgleish sending out four in a bid to win the event for the second year running.
