Quirky Go On Gal gains second win on fine day for Feilden and Birkett

Every horse has its quirks and according to her trainer Julia Feilden, Go On Gal's little foibles are that she doesn't like passing horses and doesn't do a great deal when she is in front.

You might wonder why, when she won the first race of her career here last August, she scored by nearly five lengths?

Speaking after she gained her second win, this time by a head in a tight finish under her daughter Shelley Birkett, Feilden explained: "In that other race Luke Morris was unseated early on and she loved following his horse which was galloping loose in front of her and was why she won so far.
