Jack Quinlan warmed up for his latest assignment on Kalashnikov at Kempton on Thursday with a double in front of a bumper Boxing Day crowd.

The brace was kicked off when Admiral Barratry sank market rival Deyrann De Carjac in the 2m3½f novice hurdle.

Quinlan teamed up with fellow Newmarket resident Lucy Wadham for the victory on the five-year-old, who was having his first outing for connections.
