Opinion remained divided over the effect or otherwise of the draw after 16 runners were declared for Sunday's €5 million Qatar Prix Arc de Triomphe.

Postponed drew stall seven and was cut in a number of places, with Ladbrokes describing support for the Roger Varian-trained five-year-old as "relentless."

The best price on Friday night about the Roger Varian-trained horse becoming the first older male to win the Arc since Dylan Thomas in 2007 was 15-8 with Betfair Sportsbook.
