Rachael Blackmore's departure from the course with a badly broken nose was Robbie Power's gain as the in-form rider landed the plum spare ride on Asthuria in the feature mares' chase and made it count.

Asthuria had disappointed when favourite for a rated chase at Punchestown earlier in the week over two miles, but she seemed far more at home over this two-mile-three-furlong trip and put in a brilliant display of jumping to win cosily by two and a half lengths from Teacher's Pet.

"I rode her before at Naas when she was second to Benie Des Dieux. She jumps brilliantly and that's really her asset," said Power.
