Globetrotting jockey Gerald Mosse enjoyed success in Scotland for the first time as he guided Indian Blessing to victory in the Listed Stobo Castle Gold Cup on a sold-out ladies' day.

Over the course of his career the 52-year-old Frenchman's roll of honour has included victories in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and the Melbourne Cup.

"It's great to be here and brilliant to have a winner in Scotland. My first ride in this country and first-time lucky for me," Mosse said.
