Peltwell makes it five in a row for in-form trainer Neil Mulholland
Neil Mulholland recorded an across-the-card double courtesy of "tough" mare Peltwell, who made in five wins on the bounce.
Glimpse Of Gold challenged the winner in the 2m handicap hurdle but unseated conditional jockey Alexander Thorne before the last.
Mulholland said: "She travelled and jumped well. She hadn't run since March so when she hit the front over the last couple of hurdles she was looking around a little bit. Obviously we were helped by the other horse losing the jockey."
A future chasing career beckons for the consistent eight-year-old, and the trainer added: "She's been schooling over fences and jumps them well. That can be one of the next steps but it's just nice to get back on track after she had some quick runs towards the end of last season. We gave her a nice holiday and it's fantastic she's come back as good as ever."
Hidden Depths landed the opening leg of Mulholland's double when justifying favouritism at Hereford under a "perfect ride" by Sam Twiston-Davies.
Hughes hangs on
The Donald McCain-trained Somewhat Cloudy narrowly held off the challenge of the favourite I Spy A Diva in the 2m3½f maiden hurdle.
I Spy A Diva jumped the last awkwardly and the winner took full advantage to win by a nose under jockey Brian Hughes.
