Pauling plotting stable stars' route for maiden hurdle winner Nestor

Nestor Park put himself in line for some bigger assignments when landing the 2m5f maiden hurdle in style to repay the belief of trainer Ben Pauling.

Such is the regard for the Sue Davis-owned five-year-old, he is likely to follow the route taken by stablemates Barters Hill and Willoughby Court in taking in the Grade 1 Betway Challow Hurdle.

"We hope he has big races in him like the Challow and then possibly the Leamington back here," said Pauling after Nico de Boinville continued his winning spree back from his thumb injury with a fifth winner since his successful return last Friday.
