Hereby highlighted the rewards of patience and perseverance when landing the biggest race of her career in the Listed Noel Murless Stakes at Ascot.

The Ralph Beckett-trained three-year-old, who has won five of her seven starts, struck at this level at the first time of asking after holding off Sapa Inca by a length and a half at the line.

Beckett, who won the race with Alyssa in 2016, said of Julian Richmond-Watson's filly: "She was weak and even hopeless to train at two, she was just too small, but she's grown and filled out all year. She's actually bigger than her dam now, which I never thought would be the case.
