Richard Phillips: struck with Organdi

Since Richard Phillips started training 25 years ago he has been supported by broadcasting duo Jeff Stelling and John Inverdale, and the pair were back among the winners after Organdi landed the 2m3f mares’ novice hurdle.

Phillips said: “Jeff and John are involved with the Beautiful People syndicate, who own this mare, and so is one of their colleagues Sybil Ruscoe.

"Unfortunately, they couldn't be here to see her win, but they have watched the race and are delighted. I just hope they've had a bit of the 9-1 about her."
