Formidableopponent landed a fantastic fourth successive win for trainer William Young in the 2m4f handicap chase.

The nine-year-old had won over the same course and distance by a nose and half a length on his two previous starts, but was utterly dominant at the line on Saturday with six lengths to spare over the long-time leader Brother Scott.

Young said of Derek Fox's mount: "He's been in the form of his life. The ground is the biggest issue, he wouldn't have run today if it had been a wet week."
