O'Neill keeps her workmates happy as Jaunty Thor scoops ladies day prize

There is just no place like home. Jaunty Thor had won at Perth and Hexham this autumn but victory in the Ladies Handicap Chase sparked wild celebrations from the Call It What You Like Syndicate, most of whom are living on the doorstep of Fairyhouse.

The winning syndicate, who have travelled far and wide with the versatile eight-year-old this year, includes Gordon Elliott's head lead Simon McGonagle and a few other very familiar faces from the trainer's stable. You sense this success was the sweetest yet.

It was certainly sweet for Lisa O'Neill, such an integral part of the Elliott team, who was in the right place at the right time on the 11-4 favourite, a length-and-a-half victor from the well-backed Danali.
