O'Neill back in groove after layoff with easy win on Waqaas

Dane O'Neill rode his first winner on his second ride back since injury when partnering Waqaas to win the 6f juvenile maiden.

It proved a straightforward ride as the son of Showcasing from the Charlie Hills yard was sent off at 8-15 following his good second at Haydock on his previous start and breezed clear inside the last two furlongs to win eased down by two and a quarter lengths.
