The omission of the fences up the straight raises obvious doubts as to the value of the form but, figures-wise, the race makes sense.

Forest Bihan (158) was clear top-rated on RPRs going into the race and, despite reservations regarding the trip in the soft ground, looks to have run right up to his mark for a yard enjoying a real purple patch.

Forest Bihan's success made it eight wins from the last ten runners for the Brian Ellison yard over jumps.
