Oisin Murphy signed off for 2017 with a double on City Gent and Dubai One, taking his domestic score for the year to a highly satisfactory 127, another step up on last year's 115 which itself was a clear career-best.

The Saeed Bin Suroor-trained Dubai One had not been seen in public since Good Friday, when suffering her only defeat in her last five starts after losing her chance in the sprint on Finals day by rearing at the start.

However, she was well primed for this and won readily enough, by half a length from Kasbah. Murphy said: "They've done a very good job with Dubai One at home and she was ready today.
