The biggest prize previously landed by Mallow trainer Eoghan O'Grady was the 2006 Tim Duggan Memorial Handicap Chase with On The Net, and he repeated the dose ten years on when the ultra-tough Westerner Point prevailed under Phillip Enright.


Results and analysis


"That's been the plan for the last 12 months," said a jubilant O'Grady. "All credit to Phillip, he gave him a fantastic ride. He didn't have much room to jump the last but kept him going.
