Half hours do not come much more memorable than the one Katie O'Farrell enjoyed as she helped herself to a quickfire 194-1 double on Low Sun in the feature 2m handicap hurdle and Flemenstorm in the Ladies National.

"It is just unbelievable, I am not used to days like this at all," said O'Farrell after riding 13-2 shot Flemenstorm to victory, with a smile that will last all summer.

It was O'Farrell's ride on Low Sun that was most impressive as she sneaked up the inside rail on the 25-1 outsider and stayed on strongly to deny Yaha Fizz by two and a quarter lengths.
