O'Brien feeling the Love again as he kicks off card with fabulous four-timer
There appeared to be a magnetic pull on the Ballydoyle horses and the winning post at Leopardstown on Tuesday with Aidan O'Brien sending out the first four winners, including the two Group 3s on the card.
If the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial had the look of a below-par renewal, the same could not be said for the Fillies' Trial, but nevertheless it produced a similar result with an O'Brien-trained runner taking the spoils.
Ridden by Seamie Heffernan, who was doubling up after success on Ennistymon in the opening fillies' maiden, Love Locket ran out a convincing winner, after which the rider heaped praise on her.
