Investec Oaks favourite Pink Dogwood was cut across the board for the Epsom Classic next month after delighting trainer Aidan O'Brien with a ready comeback victory in the Listed Salsabil Stakes.

The daughter of Camelot, who had signed off her juvenile campaign with a fifth-placed finish in the Prix Marcel Boussac, made her first start at 1m2f a winning one, beating nine rivals under Ryan Moore, with the promise of plenty to come.

The filly has been well supported in the Oaks market in recent weeks, being backed in from 25-1, and was on Sunday night no bigger than 5-1 with Sky Bet after this half-length victory over Encapsulation.
