Mark Johnston was already harbouring dreams Nyaleti could become a Classic contender before the filly ignited them with a devastating victory in the Princess Margaret Juddmonte Stakes.

Not only did she enhance the standing of September and Clemmie, the two Ballydoyle fillies who have beaten her, she also raised her own game by powering to a five-length victory to open her Group-race account.

Using front-running stablemate Rebel Assault as her springboard, Nyaleti leapt into the lead two furlongs out and stretched further and further clear, leaving market rival Dance Diva to follow her home in second.
