Bravo Zolo atoned for a disappointing performance in the Betfred Cambridgeshire, making all under Christophe Soumillon to score by a short neck from Qurbaan.

Trainer Jeremy Noseda had kept the gelded son of Rip Van Winkle fresh for Newmarket ever since he finished second in the Betway Lincoln and received delayed reward here in the day's €52,000 feature, run on Bravo Zolo's favoured quick ground.
