The pressure was on Paul Nolan at Leopardstown on Saturday but Latest Exhibition delivered in the opening 2m6f Grade 1 novice hurdle to bridge a six-year gap to when the trainer last enjoyed a top-flight success.

The wait would still be ongoing had Nolan not put his neck on the block with Latest Exhibition.

After the rapidly progressive novice took the scalp of Andy Dufresne at Navan in December, one of the powerhouse stables tried to whip Latest Exhibition from Nolan's yard by offering his owner-breeder an eye-watering sum of money.
