It has been quite a week for amateur Tommie O'Brien.

Three days after partnering 50-1 shot Poormans Hill to victory in the bumper at Galway – his tearful reaction to that first winner at the festival receiving enormous publicity on social media – he was back in the winners' enclosure after riding Ruaraidh Hugh to win the first 2m7f handicap hurdle.
