There is no chance that Spring Steel will be allowed to rest on his laurels after landing his second race in four days in the 2m3½f handicap chase.

The Alexandra Dunn-trained seven-year-old caught the attention of the Newton Abbot stewards on Monday when easily landing a gamble, despite having a string of five pulled-up efforts by his name.

And Somerset-based Dunn revealed that Spring Steel will be attempting to notch three victories in six days as she plans to run him again at Market Rasen on Sunday in a handicap hurdle.
